Uni has kept me quite busy and up till 2am most nights since I left Japan back in February and I only have the time now since the semester is over AW YEAHHH! Though I must confess, I didn't get ANY study done because of the senbatsu election last night but every second spent was completely worth it!! Congrats to the 64 girls!! Although I did expect a lot of SKE girls to get in I honestly didn't expect THAT many, it was quite a shocker. What's even more jaw dropping was Mayu's 2nd place. So many people, including me, was expecting that position going to Yukirin but I guess Mayu has more of an ace character so that rank seems more fitting for her. Either way, I'm happy for them both. Go Mayuki! ALSO, BIG CONGRATS to Wasamin for getting center of 'Next Girls'!! Finally getting the attention she deserves, wonderful! And not so wonderful is Lovetan's, Komorin's, Harugon's (Harugone T_T) and Suuchan's drop. It's like society, the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer. Somehow Umechan and Chiyuu won the lottery and moved up in the chart. Sasshi invented facebook and got insanely popular, taking the top team A member for this year's senbatsu. Anyway I will put up a new chart for Senbatsu Comparison next, as well as Wasamin's 'Konbanwasamin' radio show download/summary page as a way to congratulate and continue to support her.

The past 4 months has just been boring uni work, but we managed to do some fun things. I said 'we' because there is a gang of us now, unofficially called SYD48. There's quite a few of us but the meet-up consisted of pandy, pomokun, adun, shoruken48 and acq128. We actually had two meet-ups where the first one involved having dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant, going to a second Korean bar and drinking loads of Soju.
Korean BBQ - LOADS of meat!!
We finished off the night by yelling the top of our lungs in Karaoke!! Over half of the songs we did was the main single releases which everyone could join in. If i remember correctly, the ones without mics were even louder than the ones with them. AND OMG! Wotagei! AHHHHH!! AHHHH!! It was sooo hectic!! Everyone was got full into it!!
The second meet-up we had was a little quieter at a Japanese restaurant where we just discussed about the senbatsu preliminary results and how the final outcome would end up. We also took our photocards to show and trade around. The Japanese waiters just kept staring at our table as they walked past, oh it was lol.
We had Sukiyaki, pork katsu, gyoza, takoyaki, and loads of others I can't even remember.
It was DELISH!
My collection, I haven't been getting any more recently, too costly lolz, though my fandom senses don't work that way xP
I didn't end up taking a lot of photos coz we've been busy having fun! But yeah, if you're an AKB fan residing in Sydney you should come join us! Although most of us are at uni or working we certainly don't bite! Besides, pandy is still in high school haha.

My AKB collection haven't been increase as much as, say, 6 months ago because I was a little insane back then and that I have to save money for other things. Besides the usual CD releases and a couple of photocards here and there, I haven't been getting any big things, or did I?
Yup, sure did! I wanted to get this 23 DVD set for soo long I just HAD to get it. I thought it'd be absolutely insane to buy it while I was Japan because it didn't look practical to carry home. I was wrong, the thing is five bloody kilos when it arrived at my doorstep by mail. I'm really glad I waited till I came back lol. I still have yet to watch even a quarter of it so I better get busy shouldn't I?
