NMB48 Kinki tour

"NMB48 Kinki tour - Shiga"

"Kinki tour" were the exact words Milky said. It gave me the shivers as soon as those words from Milky's honey sweet voice reached my ears. I was lucky to hear it. Oh, I was so much more luckier than that...

Going to idol concerts are getting harder and harder, with tickets being sold out in a couple of hours, auction bidders getting richer, and worst of all, with the introduction of ID checks upon entering the venue to stop scalpers. I honestly wouldn't suggest you to test your luck though. Spending all the extra dollars for the ticket, then spending a whole lot of time and money getting to the concert hall and BAM, being rejected. It's not a good feeling.

Anyway enough of that. Like I said, I was super extremely lucky to be able to attend the first concert of the NMB48 Kinki tour at Otsu (right next to Lake Biwa).

The hall was quite small, there wasn't any cameras/cameramen at all! There wasn't any big screens at the back either =/. The first row and the stage had only a small fence and a few guards crouching in between. I was in the 8th row. But wait, this hall is the biggest liar. The rows start from the back, in other words, I was 8th row from the back!! To the right was sound technicians and a few managers who hogged up 6 rows of seat (come on 6 bloody rows?!) to the left was 3 girls. Oh, speaking of girls, there were quite a lot!!

The concert started off with Korogaru Ishi ni Nare! which was a pretty good way to get everyone fired up. It then was followed up by Flying Get which surprised me since I thought they would perform the staple singles last. My girlfriend was glad to see this song being performed live though! So I'm happy for her! At this point I sort of thought that maybe this concert would be different to what they've done before. Then, "Idoru to kakemashite!!" Nandeyanen Idol!! Kanakichi had really cute braids done and really shined on the stage. Following that, was Minasan mo go issho ni. At this point I've begin to wonder how much AKB songs are they going to perform.

The first MC consisted of members who lives in the area (Shiga). Riichan and Keicchi got most of the attention. Riichan being the airhead she is, tells everyone that Lake biwa is big, deep and full of water which was quite the lols. Keicchi gives a more sensible (and interesting) fact saying that you're allowed to swim in the lake.

"MC"

Continuing on! Seven girls! Purple dresses! One of my favs, Hatsukoi no Yukue to Playball!! Since it was a concert only one verse of the songs were performed which was a little too bad since I love the song a lot and was only able to hear 2/3 of it. Sayanee's voice is the boss (like always). Following that was Nagekiss de Uchiotose! without the usual Miruki center which would be explain by the song after... Waruki!!! The first ever live performance of Miruki's solo!! Her costume was the sexiest/cutest ever and out-shined the crap out of the 4 backup dancers. At the bridge of the song she went down on her knees and gone all innocent and I'm sure all the wotas gave a massive squeal of death. It was BLOODY EPIC!! Made my night!

"Milky gone bad"

I'm going to stop going over every song because I was too high at the concert to remember every single thing that happened but I'll go over the most memorable things so me. I was sort of disappointed mainly because they didn't perform the songs I really wanted to see like Sayanee's center Bird and the 3 top Dakishimeraretara. Guess the setlist/time frame was too short for any (more) performances less than 5 people (except Waruki of course). But I was pretty surprised at all the new stage songs they managed to learn. Migi e Magare and Doryoku no Shizuku were really great concert songs but nothing beats the ever so genki Seishun no Lap Time!! I don't think I'll hear as many people say "Suki dakara" or as loud ever in my life again or "GO GO GOGOGO!!" It was FREAKING SPETACULAR!! The NMB's version of Boku no Uchiage Hanabi was really beautiful. I couldn't stop staring at Milky's pink yutaka. It finished off with gold ribbons shooting off from the stage. I was too far from the firing range but one of the producers(?) or managers decided to pick them up and gave out to the people at the back!! How nice!!

After that, was a double MC 1st with team M then N, N comes out with beautiful yukatas and each girl holding uchiwas (perfect weather AND location for these). Milky get's a very cute pink one and although it doesn't stand out like crazy, you can find her wherever she is. Then team M comes back out to perform Boku no Uchiage Hanabi! Such a beautiful summer song!

The encore chants were "Riichan, Riichan!!" which I couldn't remember why but I think it was something like welcome home or something about she hasn't been back for a while. The girls came back out with their new costumes and sexy as hell may I add, performed Virginity! I think the most memorable part of the song was how the girls formed really interesting patterns Sayanee walking over all the girls while holding Milky's and Nana's hand. BOW DOWN TO YOUR GREAT LEADER YOU SLAVES!! I haven't really listened to the song before but hearing it in the concert really got me liking it. There were a lot of butt wagging and suggestive moves that knocked me almost unconscious.

"Sayanee giving out free virginity"

Next was "NMB48" which was another song I really wanted to see live and I'm really happy to be able to. All the members (except those who performed Virginity) came out and filled the entire stage again! It's really a great finisher. Every time I hear this song I always think of "NMB48" being scrolled across those LED panels in the NMB theater. It may not be their original song but it really brings out that Namba pride!! For the final song, I was 100% sure it'd be Boku wa Matteru but it wasn't! How could that be?! (They must be sick of using it for every ending song I guess). Instead they sang 'Arigatou' which was quite a pleasant surprise and a good change for once actually. But it probably wasn't as moving as Boku wa Matteru though.

"Closing talk by Sayanee"

Now it's concert goods time! Although I didn't buy much, I totally forgotten how expensive things were (my last concert was 5 years ago)! I bought three things and it set me back 7000yen already! My girlfriend was kind enough to pay 1000yen for me though, how sweet of her =]
