The highlight for the final third of the AKB48days challenge would have to be the Request Hour Setlist Best 100 2011. The venue, performance and nearly everything about it is just sensational. Many songs were from stage albums so seeing them being performed at a larger and better venue makes it much more exciting. Also, seeing the performances of classic songs from earlier stages really motivates me to listen to them more often. The ranking of the songs itself of course is what makes the live so special and worth watching because it keeps you on the edge of your seat anticipating what comes next (unless you've been cheating and checked the list beforehand). Lastly, thanks to that 4day concert, I've started listening to more SKE48 now.
Another 'concert' I enjoyed a lot was the Yuruyuru karaoke live during the Tokyo Aki Matsuri. During the first month or so into AKB fandom, I've skimmed through that concert, mainly because I don't even know most of the AKB48 songs, why would I bother listening to them singing random songs I have even less clue about. But it was definitely worth going back AFTER learning more about the members, so you can find out more about them! Like wota Sashiko!
Those 48days will be well remembered! Where I sacrifice precious gaming time to watch LoD's, stay up till 4am to watch Hana Kimi and not eat for 3 days to catch up on all the Yukirin weather forecasts (ok I kid, I didn't do the last one). But nah, without that slight feeling of obligation to fill in the chart everyday, I wouldn't of consumed so much AKB48 material and have learnt so much more about them (and lost so much money to Yahoo Japan Auctions)!!
Laters~
Oh right! I forgot to count the hours I've accumulated over these 48days!
Part 1 - 45hrs
Part 2 - 35hrs
Part 3 - 46hrs
Total - 126hrs!
