It's been well over 10 days since I lived in the uni dorms but I only begun classes since today. The past week or so involved LOADS of food and cycling from place to place.
See?
Udon with deep fried veges and tempura prawn (just another usual day in Japan)
Bicycles are the only 'real' type of transportation here.
The bikes here are a lot harder to steer here, and if you go to the supermarket for a couple bottles of drinks, it feels like your lost the power steering in your car. The shops are not too far away from the uni, there is a convenient store 2mins away, a supermarket about 5mins away and a bigger shopping mall about 15mins by bike.
A stamp section in the shops, how cute.
Then, I found this...
SKE bowling?! (sorry I haven't been watching SKE shows)
Why not?
Whoopie-doo!
My horrible scoresheet
As we were leaving I found some application form for SKE prizes
Signed uniforms! DO WANT!!
And now, food pic spam!
Chashu-Ramen
Gyu-don with shallots and egg
MASSIVE Katsu-don, I could barely eat half of it.
Meat udon from uni cafeteria
Cereal? Yeah I was surprised to find it here.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, when you don't have pegs, use pens!!
One day, a few of us got a little over-obsessed with going to Tsutaya (CD/DVD store) so we rode for about 1/2 hour down there to go check it out. It involved crossing many rivers and big bridges.
Gifu's waters are very clean, you can see fishes in many of the rivers just sunbaking on the shallow end.
TSUTAYA!!
I didn't buy anything there as there wasn't any new releases. I walked passed the new AKB48 guam psp game but because I haven't even touched my psp since I packed it in my bag, I thought I'd buy it when I actually want to play it, otherwise it'll just be sitting there taking up my precious space.
I can't finish a blog post without a AKB purchase now can I? There is a Book Off store not too far from the uni and since it's my first time, I was quite surprised at the amount of stuff they sell. It was almost as big as the Tsutaya down at Sakae. The shop had a section selling all these trading cards, Yugioh, Pokemon, you name it, the amount they had was insanely NUTS. There was a small section where they sold some AKB photocards and even though I managed to resist during the first visit, there was no way to do it again in the second time. So I bought...
*drum roll*
Maeda Ami!! Woot!!
