NMB-one

So, what exactly was it that took a whole lot of my money?

*Hint* It looks like a plane but way longer and has no wings.

Give up?

It's...
a Shinkansen (bullet train) !!

Even the inside looks like a plane, it has bigger windows and MUCH more comfy seats.

I don't think I've ever bought a $60 train ticket in my life before... never mind that, I probably spent over $140 on trains today.

Here's a short video of the speed of the Shinkansen.

So where did I go? Have a look at the ticket
I went to Osaka!
Well, I actually went to a place called Namba in Osaka.

It was bloody confusing! Even though I had a map, I asked at least 5 people, wondered around for over half an hour to find out where exactly I was. There is one really confusing thing about Japan maps, and that is, even walkways (or roads without traffic) are shown as 'roads'! I completely missed the 'road' that I was looking for and gone all psycho trying to find it.

Beware of Osaka roads, they can confuse the crap out of you, even if you have a map.

After many twists and turns, I finally found it...

NMB48 Theater!

I haven't really read about it, but from the look of things, it seems like it's underground O_o

Moving along... I came to this street...

Can you see it?

If not, here!

NMB48 Official Shop!!

The opening times are a bit weird, from 3pm on weekdays and 12pm on weekends. I got there 10mins before the store's opening and there were people already lining up for it. The wait wasn't long at all, you could almost go in right away. The operation of the store is a bit weird. You walk through a queue, and have a look at what you want. All the items are displayed in glass cabinets and on walls. Each item is numbered, so you'll have to remember the numbers of the items you want. Then a guy comes to you, asks what you want and writes them down on a piece of paper. You then take the paper to the counter where they get your goodies and burn a hole in your wallet. Hate to admit it, but I still think H!P store works the best, this is probably something that H!P can beat against AKB.

Did I buy anything?

why even bother asking...

Here's the bag
I was expecting it to be covered with leopard-skin but then that would make all fans of NMB Osaka Oba-chans (Osaka is where Oba-chans [elderly women] are famous for wearing leopard-skin patterns).

and... here's my loot!

2 Miyuki sets, 2 Sayanee sets, Miyuki Poster, 2nd gen poster and NMB48 Keychain.

WOOT!!
