Settling in

The past 2 days hasn't been very eventful, which is a good thing because it means I haven't been splashing out too much cash... or have I?

2 days ago, I went to Ichinomiya, Aichi, Kitarie's hometown. I was kind of hoping to see something (or someone *wink wink*) there but sorry to say this Rie-chan, there wasn't much there to do. That said, it was a pretty nice, quite town to live in. 20 mins away from Gifu and Nagoya.

I've been trying to stay as healthy as I can. Without the nagging of my parents, I've become a little more aware of what I eat, so maybe it's a good thing? I mean, eating 90% of your food from the convenient store is perfectly normal right?

My yummy fridge

Veges and dairy is a must everyday, and since fruits are so darn expensive, not to mention the lack of them, I usually get fruit juice instead. If I feel a little generous to the Japanese economy, I'd shell out a massive 100yen for an apple.

As for today, I decided to go drop by my uni to do a little self introduction and find out how barren the place really is... yep, it's pretty darn barren, surrounded completely by mountains, no shops for miles. Boy am I going to miss living here.

A barren uni.

I didn't take anymore photos because it was too depressing. Just kidding. But really, I didn't take anymore photos.

Then tonight...

I've read about it on many blogs before, Melon-pan (or melon bread). So I decided to see what the whole hype is about. After the first bite... I think I like it... second bite... not bad... third bite... alright, I'm going to stuff my pantry full of them tomorrow! It's realllly good! Seriously!

Tomorrow will be a lot more eventful, and from many, many past experiences, 'money spent' goes up exponentially with 'eventful'. I'm already expecting to lose at least 30,000yen tomorrow so you'd have to wait and see where the money went. Hopefully not down the drain.
