Second Chance

Just over a month ago, I briefly went to Ichinomiya and said that there wasn't much to do there. Today, I take all that back after finding out that Ichinomiya is a whole lot bigger and there's a lot more things to do there then I initially thought. I didn't manage to go to many of them, in fact, I only went to one (maybe two) of the more interesting places there, but I do plan to go there again!

So today I headed towards this thing -

It looks like a fancy spaceship inside 2 arches

The short train ride from uni to the place was nice and quiet, strange for a Saturday, where did everyone go? Oh wait, I forgot how countryside this place is!

The closest station I could find to the tower is at Kuroda, a 40min walk... The station is right next to a road, which means there is a railway crossing there, yes, just like in anime!

Here's another proof of how countryside this place is -

This is a six lane road, not a car in sight, you will not see this for 1 second back at home.

Just one more piece of evidence lol

After about 25mins of trekking, we found another highway stretching right across the farmlands

Hey Phil, hows the traffic today?

No signs of delays Jim, or even cars!

After about 15 more minutes, we finally got there!

Twin Arch 138!!

This beautiful piece of architecture!

The entrance fee was about 500 yen, so if you have walked for about 40mins all the way there, and you don't go up, you might need to see a doctor.

Magnificent!
